At HackShield development team we are dedicated to creating, developing, and refining the HackShield game, a serious video game that teaches children cyber safety and digital awareness. Our team includes game designers, artists, developers, composers, and Scrum specialists. Together, we ensure that every detail of the HackShield game and its surrounding elements are meticulously designed and developed to succeed in providing an impactful experience for our players. You may find us brainstorming innovative game mechanics, fine-tuning character animations, composing immersive soundtracks, optimizing game performance, or conducting playtesting sessions at any given time. Additionally, we extend a supportive hand to our sister teams and collaborate with them continuously in solving complex issues. Cultivating a healthy, communicative, professional and collaborative work environment is of utmost importance to our team as they enable the best to come out of us.
As a Game Design Intern, you will work closely with other designers & developers, contributing to the creation, designing and development of levels, documents, features and mechanics. You will be attending meetings during which you’ll collaborate on the game design of HackShield. You will also be using C# and Unity Engine to develop levels and implement features for the game. You will participate in and experience various stages of game development, from concept to release, gaining hands-on experience in a live ops production setting.
